SpiritHorse at Freedom Ranch provides therapeutic horseback riding to assist individuals reach their full potential through interaction with horses and nature.

Each Fall, SpiritHorse also hosts the Special Olympic Training for 8 weeks and the Georgia Area Special Olympic Horseshow which has served riders living in counties in both Georgia and Tennessee.

Swim Team
To raise awareness about Autism, Ability organized a screening of the documentary film "Swim Team" followed by a panel discussion. "Swim Team" chronicles the overwhelming struggles and extraordinary triumphs of 3 young athletes with Autism and shows how a swim team can bring hope to a community.

TDI Award
Telecommunications for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Inc. (TDI) recognized Susan Mazrui as the "Key Catalyst" for a list of "remarkable disability access initiatives" that AT&T has produced in the last twenty five years, making AT&T a "Model Fortune 500 Corporation."

Ability Virtual
The Ability Virtual chapter provides lunch and learns and other events that shed light on assistive technology and how it can be used to make communications accessible by people with any level of ability.
